Ok, there has been a lot of talk about which oil is best. But what about the oil filter? What oil filter is everyone using?

I use the Mobil 1 filter. Expensive compared to most others, but what price can you put on peace of mind?

I also use the Mobil 1 filter. Usually, the Autozone Parts Stores (in Indy) give a bit of a price break ($2.00) if you buy two at the same time.

Factory as well. Since most of us change oil every 3,000 miles or less it does the job very well.

The ford (motorcraft) filters have been very well rated for a long time. It's one area where sticking with stock is ok. :)

I personally modified mine to use the "toilet paper" filter that you simply change once every few months and simply toss in a new quart of oil. Now that's peace of mind.

No! Just kidding! I use the Motorcraft filter.
