Where to find ignition cylinder plastic cover?

I *think* that's the name of it anyway ==>


Mine broke, and I am looking for a replacement one that doesn't involve buying the whole ignition cylinder which is like $50 while I only need the plastic cover which shouldn't be more than $5.
Anyone knows?

That's pretty cool. I had no idea about this. I'll probably end up having a look for other parts as well.

pretty much what i did. i looked for a local junkyard and they told me they had a few mustang but i had to find them(gave me a general area) so i went through the junkyard till i found them and grabbed the part. Funny enough i was looking for the same thing.

On another note while searching for the stangs i couldnt help but checking out every car they had back there cause they had some old muscle.

can you guys tell me how to get that ring off? LOL I've painted mine but could never figure out how to remove it from the ignition switch.

should just pop off, may need to put a flat blade screwdriver behind to help but there is just 4 clips thats hold it on
