I did a search and can't find any pic's or how to mount the IAT2 sensor in an 01 intake. Right now it's just laying on top of the intake. Is this how all the HP kits come or did someone do some $hitty work?

Thanks

it is up to you really how you want to mount it. it just needs to be in the air flow path. most people do drill and tap the upper lid to mount it there. just make sure you seal it so there are no leaks. pm sent

Here's some pics. I think there from juiced46. I did it the same way and have no problems.

i got a lightning IAT sensor(Motorcraft DY754), which is essentially a threaded version of the IAT1. i put in a bung in the piping going throught the fenderwell and threaded it in there. works great and the stock wire harness actually clips right into it..
