Where do I pick up the wiring on the loom for accessories?

I have to re-wire my fuel pressure gauge as the previous owner made a complete balls of it (along with a number of other things).

I want an ignition switched feed but would like to know where in the loom you guys would suggest I take it from, along with the wire colour please.

Have been through the Haynes manual to no avail.

A test light and DVOM will do what you need.

Thanks but I meant, "Is there a specific colour wire like we have on British/European cars"? I don't want to hack my loom. Do you know which wire or not?
