Wheel Dilemna - Help Me Choose Rims For My Cobra

It is that time of the year where the birds are chirping and the sun shines bright here in MICHIGAN.

I sold my Black 18X9 and 18X10 FR500S to a member on this forum earlier this year or last year.

I am going to be purchasing a new set of rims next week.

My Cobra is in my signature. 10th Anniversary Edition Black Cobra.

WHAT SHOULD I BUY?

BLACK CHROME FR500S

ALL BLACK SALEENS

BLACK CHROME SALEENS

I AM OPEN TO OTHER SUGGESTIONS AS WELL.

CCWS OR TRUE FORGED RIMS ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION. I AM IN THE WORKS OF BUYING A BIKE.

I was thinking in that sense as well. They are so tempting though. If you can tell I am not all that into Chrome rims but if someone can point me to a nice 5 star chrome rim then by all means. I like the fact they are dark rims with a nice shine to them as well. Best of both worlds in a way.

I have heard the black chrome wheels get weird brush like scratches and wear easily:shrug:... I say keep it black on black:beer:

18" black AFS 03/04 wheels would be a good alternative

black chrome will look dumb on your car becuase of how nice and clean...the contrasts between the two dark colors will look bad

Get some CTR's. Everyone has FR500's. The CTR's have a much better quality chrome job on them and look different. I have FR500's on my DD Mustang GT so I am speaking from experience.

i've always been a fan of gunmetal on black cars. I think FR500 they call it anthracite or something like that.

Well, since CCW or TF are out i'd say off that list blackchrome FR500's. that first car looks really really nice

I like the black chrome.....My car drops jaws with the black on black theme. Saw 3 people taking pics with their camera phones today when I had it out.....and that was in two hours.
