Wheel colors on a Sterling Grey metallic 5.0

I personally prefer silver or machined finish wheels for sterling grey. I have machined finish wheels on mine.

I like black as well but sometimes you "lose" the wheel at a distance and certainly in pictures if the lighting isn't right.

19x9 & 10 Gunmetal Gloss Forgestar CF10 wheels.....They are just a shade lighter than the Sterling Grey paint.
Im looking for a set of the 13+ GT500 Base wheels though to replace these.

(Looking back I should have kept these wheels...they were just so hard to keep clean! and the Black Stripe/Silver wheel thing drove my OCD crazy!)

I don't have a lot of pics of those wheels on my car....I only had them on for a week before I switched out.
They used to be on my White GT and I traded it in on the GT/CS.

Honestly they were a bit too wide in the back, 10.5" with +42 offset. the tire itself (295) was almost past the fender! (Yes I had the Panhard bar adjusted properly! but people who saw it always went to the other side to make sure!)

If It sat lower in the rear it wouldn't seem as exaggerated I don't think. Still looks really good IMO.

Here is the option that my wife went with. They are the MMD 551C wheels. We couldn't beat the price and they are a pretty good knock off of the higher dollar wheels. 20 x 8.5/10 with 255/35/20 and 295/35/20s Nitto INVOs. So far she is loving them.

Don't go any darker than the color of the car, imo. You want the wheels to stand out and compliment the car. And they can't do that if they blend in with the tires and get lost in the black abyss that is the wheels well.

Been getting boring seeing these dark cars with dark wheels. This is what made the likes of HRE, CCW, and other high-end brands stand out. They look phenomenal with silver/brighter colored wheels. Hell, even chrome lipped wheels look bad ass.

OP, I would go with silver or something shiny, black/grey looks too plain and as you can see with what has been posted so far is just too... common.

Well I went with forgestar f14 in gloss gunmetal and to me they look great!

I know I am old fashion but I still say you cant beat the look of 5 spoke wheels. I think gray like the older gt500 wheels but I also like brighter wheels on these cars
