I want to see the wheel color you got with sterling grey metallic 5.0

Post up a picture of your wheels to help me decide on what color to get.

I'm interested in silver.

Please post up the pictures and the wheel brand with specs please.

I'm not much help with a black car... There is a sticky at the top of this forum for aftermarket wheels. other than that, free bump to see if someone helpful will chime in with an answer to your pic request.

Here is what I currently run on my 2011 SGM GT.

American Racing AMR Charcoal 18x8" all around and 235/50R-18 Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires.

I like those American racing above.. go to tire rack and bring up an image of the car and swap rims on it.. I have an 11 sterling grey and I honestly love the color of the Brembo rims on it, it's almost a perfect watch with the car color.. which are a tad bit lighter than the rims above.. The stock shelby svt rims look really good on it also

Someone on here has Gunmetal Gloss Forgestar F14's that made me drool. That is what I am going with when I get the funds for it. I will try and see if I can find the picture in the Wheels thread so I can post it.

I bought these last spring because I got a smoking deal on them, but now I just can't envision anything else on the car. I will say those TF's above are pretty sweet!

BUMP

I am fixing to order my wheels but would like to see more pictures!

I am leaning toward Forgestar F14 wheels right now.

Anyone else?

Don't go any darker than the color of the car, imo. You want the wheels to stand out and compliment the car. And they can't do that if they blend in with the tires and get lost in the black abyss that is the wheels well.

Was thinking about maybe getting silver or gunmetal maybe textured gunmetal but I don't know what the difference is between gunmetal and textured gunmetal.

Would those look good?

I disagree. Black looks great on SGM, but I went Matte and would strongly suggest Piano if you choose the F14. I think my Matte look dull. I recently cleaned them with some orange stuff (Goof Off I think) and they were piano'esque and shiney and looked excellent.

If it's a 5 spoke black looks great because it's still distinguishable. If A mesh style then I'd want a lighter colored wheel like the mirror faced nurburgrings or a silver finish.

Not to say some piano black f14's aren't amazing though
