I just found out that my tires on my 2000 L are dry rotting. I bought the L with 11k on it and it now has 20k. One of the tires cracked and started to leak so I have to replace all 4 since they are all starting to crack. What replacement tire do you guys recommend. I would like a little more traction then what the eagles provided? Any input would be a big help.

Check out the Nitto 404,they come in 285/50/18 and you can get them for about $130 each,a whole lot better than the stock F1's at about $200 each.

You could also look into the Hankooks. There is someone on here running them that loves them.

kmad61 --> What about the taller sidewall on the tires you recommended? Minimal difference to worry about speedo?

I don't think there really is anything better than the F1s all around minus the Nitto 555s....

that's me lol
best tires on my L so far
if you drive a lot in rain (wet road), these are the best tires
hankooks also provide very good dry tractions as well
