Man I went through weeks of research when I lowered my Mach. I ended up with H&R Race springs. Dropped it just a tad (sorry no exact measurents) but Im running 255/40/18 front and 285/40/18 rear. The front needed to have been like a 275/40/18 but other than that, I love em!! They honestly feel like stock until you really power into them. Great for a daily driver but stiff enough to make a difference. Ill try and post a before and after link for you.

Our Sport springs are currently on sale ... they are some of our best selling springs:

These springs gave my Mustang the look and ride that it should have had from the factory. The ride height was lowered enough for good looks but not so much that it bottoms out in parking lots. The ride quality has also improved compared to the factory setup. The handling was improved over factory on the street and in more aggressive driving conditions. Letâ

Depends what you mean by "best"

Best at what? Lowest? Smoothest riding? Stiffest? There is no one spring that is better than all others in all possibly ways.

That said, Steeda Sport springs are great. The drop isn't too aggressive, and the ride is smooth.

I'd also consider H&R Super Sports or H&R Race.

I installed Steeda Sport Springs in our Mach last September. I got 1.5" drop all around. This is with all isolators removed. The ride is pretty decent and still riding on stock shocks and struts.

When I was doing my front control arm bushings and rear lower control arms I just ended up going the cheap route and cutting 1 coil from the front springs with no top iso & 3/4 coil from the rear with no top iso and the drop is pretty nice.. ride quality is the same as stock. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I personally think the Ford Racing springs are worth the price its listed on AM. My friends 04 GT has BBK springs with Koni's and his car feels good..it feels much better then my car I don't know why, but I think it's because I have a bent rear axle.

why remove the isolaters?? I've heard of people removing them to supposedly drop it more, but that's kind of redneck aint it?? I mean you aren't talkin about that much of a difference...

Thanks guys, heard a lot of good about the H&R springs. Just trying to get a idea wanting close the wheel gap up a little and still have a decent ride. I plan on keeping the stock rims and I run a 275/40s under the rear.

I got the Race version due to running 18" wheels. The Super Sports seem to give a slightly bigger drop. So if you are keeping the 17" wheels, I would definitely recommend the H&R Super Sports.

I did it because I wanted the extra drop. You are probably looking at .25" or so of a drop by leaving them out but to me it was worth it. The 1.5" drop I got was good enough to get rid of the 4x4 look, and still be able to get up a driveway (although it can still be tricky). My stock isolators were junk anyways after I took the springs out. I have not noticed any negatives from having the isolators out. The ride quality is ok, and there are no extra noises or vibrations without them. I wrapped the top and bottom coil of each spring with rubber splicing tape so there was not any metal to metal contact with the springs seated.

Hmmm.... if it works, it works!! haha I'm wondering about the long term effect. Hopefully it stays smooth! And I agree, Ford's decision to go with rubber isolators for comfort was the cheap way out. But what's new lol

The only thing I am curious about is if I will get any metal on metal noise if the splicing tape wears through. I don't anticipate anything but I can always go back in there and re apply if necessary. It is easy enough to get the springs in and out.

You shouldn't. I ran my GT without isolators and currently have no isolators in the IRS and don't have any increased noise or anything.
