Whats behind the cap on the top/back of block?

Im talking about the black cap on the left side of the engine in this pic just below where most people have that yellow painted on dot. I had a tiny bit of oil right next to that cap and what looked to be small pieces of some non-magnetic material that might have pushed through.

Absolutely nothing. It's just a hole in the block and that plastic just closes it. I have lots of pics of the factory block along side a Teksid block from all different angles and you can see the hole.

Awesome thanks I couldn't find anything on it after searching a few hours. I had small debri that must have pushed up through it or fell from my brittle wire loom after removing blower. Just wanted to make sure I didn't punch a hole in my block behind there

No problem. It's just a plastic plug to keep dirt out. Not likely the source of your debris.
