What transmission fluid do you use??

Search on here sucks. I went to the store and got some mobile 1 75w-90 oil which is the same weight as the redline mtf. Now I finally discovered that t-45's are supposed to use automatic transmission fluid!? What do you guys use?

I used GM syncromesh and then to Mercon ATF and noticed no difference whatsoever in the different fluids, it's just up to the owner.

You searched with syncromesh, a possible answer to his question. If he knew to search with that term, he wouldn't have needed to search in the first place, as he would already have had the answer to his question.

I've tried Mercon III as recommended and B&M TrickShift. Neither felt noticeably different, but I believe my trans/clutch may be shot anyhow. No fluid is going to repair damaged metal.

I always used exactly what the Owners Manual, and the repair manual called for ... Mercon ATF.

This stuff.

Almost 120k on the stock T45 with this stuff, and I havent had a single problem other than reverse being a pain to get in at times.
