They run a little wider than the 555's. I have a new set of nt01 in 315/30 also but like the added height and sidewall of the 305's better. I'm worried about tire rub now. Wish I would've went with 10.5 wheels at this point.

Sounds like you should sell the NT01's and go with some 305/35/18 R888's to get a little extra width. On an unrelated note, I'm in the market for a set of 305/35/18 NT01's :)

I think 305/35 is your answer for the 18x10.5 wheel. I put a 295 on my 10 and it fits perfect. Too many guys get wrapped up in tire sizes just because they look cool, but then they don't function properly. I would lean to the 305 MT Streets like wesking1 posted up. Should be able to hold a solid amount of power and still give you a good look. Personally, before I went with a 18/17 or 18/16 set up I would go full bigs and littles. I just think the other set ups look awkward.

Well a 295 45 on a 17 inch rim will have more sidewall. I'm guessing it will hook better than a 305 35 18. Just guessing

I'm sure it will hook better. But at 28" tall, it's going to look stupid tall in the rear for a street setup where most are running 25.5 to 25.7 tires up front. The 305/35s are just slightly over 26". 315/30s will be in the 25.5 range
