What would you guys do with 5k? Got a little bit of inheritance money, but i would like to turn that 5k into more. I was thinking about maybe trying to flip a car? This is just fun money. any suggestions would be great thanks

Me personally I'd spend 1-2k on something. Then invest the rest in silver or gold since they're both cheap right now.

We just *invested* $5k (5400 to be exact) yesterday on some new granite countertops. Better be worth it. If we didn't have a house to put money into...I'd probably buy 5 Ford Festivas!

Step 1: Open a Roth IRA if you don't already have one.
Step 2: Put the $5,000 into SPY (S&P 500 index ETF) or VTI (Total Stock Market Index ETF).
Step 3: Forget all about it.
Step 4: Look at it again in 10 years lol.

Roth IRA. A no brainer. This 5k could be worth $160k when you retire, assuming you can average 10%. And it's tax free.

+1 for Roth IRA, its inheritance money, not like your paycheck, so I would just put it in an IRA account and forget about it.
