I love the SN95 Cobras and have the chance to trade in my red 99 lightning for a red with black interior 98 cobra. It is stock and I wanted to know what would be the best performance mods I can get with $3,000 and how much horsepower will I be expect?

4.56 gears, full exhaust, imrc deletes, JLT CAI/RAI, tune, mgw shifter, suspension and tires. Best bang for the buck mods period.

You can find a lot of these parts used so your 3K should go quite a long way.

I'd say start with the blower and build from there. Why waste time with typical bolt-ons when a KB would probably be enough to put a smile on your face. Keep the tune conservative and then you can then build your suspension, exhaust, and drivetrein one peice at a time (until shit starts to break lol). I did all the bolt-ons with my GT, then did the blower last. If I had the money when I first got the cobra, I would have done it differently.
