I'll let you know before October is over. A manufacturer is strapping a blower on my car as soon as it hits the ground. Boosting it till it makes big numbers or breaks

Which blower do you plan on running?

It's my understanding that they forged the rods, however pistons remain coated. Therefore? I'm afraid 600-650 whp still may be the limit. I hope I'm wrong though!

Not with a good tune. Heat is what breaks pistons, if you have an effecient boost source and can keep the BATs under control i dont see the pistons being a problem.

Unfortunately I cannot disclose that at this time. It is a very well known manufacturer. My car will be used for R&D.

All the details i've seen is revised "coated" pistons. Do you have something that says specifically forged?
