I just bought a sight unseen motor, and it appears to be a Terminator. It has all the color indicators of a Terminator, the exact codes and casting indicators.
low miles, full block, clean, with shaker bracket, paint on block crisp, stainless steel headers, harness, complete ready to drop in.The answer depends on alot of variables. Miles? Full dressed long block?
Shaker bracket, painted block?? That's red flags. Post a picture of it.low miles, full block, clean, with shaker bracket, paint on block crisp
I will.... later..... it is covered up today, the engine block codes are 100% terminator RF. 2C5E-6CO64-DA.... 03-S73...Yellow paint on date and blue paint on code areaShaker bracket, painted block?? That's red flags. Post a picture of it.
Why..... some had a shaker hoods.... SVT and Mach 1.Shaker bracket, painted block?? That's red flags. Post a picture of it.
Paint on Aluminum block...Shaker bracket, painted block?? That's red flags. Post a picture of it.
YesIf it has a shaker bracket, it's more likely a Mach 1 engine.... but it could have been swapped on. Does it have the Eaton supercharger?
No SVT car came with a shaker. The Mach's are not SVT. The Terminators all came with iron blocks. The Machs and Terminators used the same heads and cams.Why..... some had a shaker hoods.... SVT and Mach 1.
So you are saying the 4.6L 32V with those codes is NOT a Terminator. Then how by looking can you tell one from the other? So this is not a terminator pic. maybe it is an OLD TerminatorThe Terminators, Machs, and Aviators used the same heads and cams. Yes, the heads had some changes over the years. But they were still the same basic design. The cams were all identical.
the iron block or aluminum block part is not exactly settledThe biggest giveaway is the iron block. If it's an aluminum block it's not an 03/04 Cobra.
