I just bought a Hellion 76 kit BB and such with the suspension, but wondering.... Should I go with 01 cobra intake or the sullivan upper and lower?

suggestions and supporting details on your suggestion would be great

thanks

i went with the 01 cobra intake. mostly to save a little money over the sullivan. You can flow big power through the 99/01 intakes and they don't seem to be too big a restriction. Marks car made 1000 rwhp through a non lock up auto with a 99/01.
I do seem to recall that the sullivan does net a little increase in power but also a little drop in the tq dept compared to the 99/01.

I have the Ported 99 Cobra right now, but will give the sullivan a try when I change to the precision T76 turbo, and bigger intercooler

I got a brand new cobra upper if you need... I purchased it for the look, but decided to just run the mach 1 that i have.

if youre going for huge numbers 850+ id say go sullivan/hpp... but if youre not going all out save your money and run a cobra/mach

I have the hpp upper and sullivan lower. I ran the cobra upper and lower on my previous cars. I hope to have some numbers after this weekend.

i personally am making 805 whp at 22-23 psi with the 99-01. when i can get rnough fuel in it to run 28 psi i think it will get close to the 900 mark.

I posted up in another thread. I was only able to make 22# because of the gate spring and my manual controller, so I have a 15# spring setup in the car now and should have no issues maxing out the turbo.

so 22# I made 723/689 I believe it was. that is corrected and on a mustang dyno.

based on the graph, it does come on a couple hundred rpm later and pulled pretty good up top, but I think a set of custom cams would do wonders with this intake setup. when I do a motor swap I will do cams, but that is next yr sometime.

780 thru a 4R70W here on 24# with twin 57's - stock 01 intake

Changing it up to a short runner in the near future, but just for a few more RPM's....

Numbers are in my sig, but my car did that with an unported 01 upper/lower, on a mustang dyno. TRBO VNM and I had very similar numbers at 17/18 psi.
