I'm looking to get a cobra some time in the near future. Not in a big rush just waiting for the perfect one to show up. Here are a few I found on autotrader.

Would have to work on the price.

Hell if your looking at those cars I have an 04 black vert with 11k miles with nice mods and you need to PM me!

all seem a little high priced even the stock one.

First one, needs some supporting mods though. If they come down on the price a bit to justify the cost of supporting mods needed I'd go for it.

Buy a modified cobra right from the start. Have it inspected first but if i was to do it over again i would have bought a Twin Screw ( KB/ Whipple ) car in the first place i would have saved a ton of money. Though i have enjoyed the step up process i would still buy modded from the get go.

I would go with the CO if you can get him to sell for a more reasonable price. It has a good set of mods and looks very clean. Save your time and money and get a car that already has some quality mods.

Can't stress the quality part enough. The CO car seems pretty nice, that would be my choice if the seller could come down on his price.

No one is buyin. I agree with buying a modded car as well as long as the mods were done right you'd have to have it really checked out by a knowledgeable tech. i see the first one is for sale by high end auto i would throw the question out and ask if anyone here who has dealt with them can give you some feedback. I like the CO but IMHO he's about 5k overpriced. like sonic said it's not 2005 anymore.

Modded cars are definitely the better deal, but depending on what you're used to driving you have to be VERY careful. I went from a Ford Explorer and a Toyota Corolla to a pullied Cobra and that was insane for me at the time. I couldn't imagine jumping from those "regular" vehicles to a TS car, but that's just me!

I would see if the first guy would take $23K for the KB car but I would have the car A/F verified on a dyno along with a compression test done before purchasing. It makes me a bit nervous to see stock injectors on a twin screw.

Goodluck with your searching
