Yeah I bought that kit it was a life saver. I'll probably extend it next week since I'll be busy this weekend at a carshow. Where did you mount the switch?

I just laid it in the glove box for now. I want to mount it in the ash tray area in the future. That way I can cover it and have easy access to it.

I've got a full send build going on my 92 coupe, still in the paint/body phase but it will be a show stopper for sure.

Do I recognize that carport? Is that the restorer in TN that posts a lot on Stangnet?
Yes, K and K Custom Mustangs is doing the build.
More details?
I guess I need to start a build thread on here at some point, I have one on Stangnet and the IG page for the build is @stangalang_tx if you just want to see pics/vids.

Basic details it's a 92 coupe that started life as a 4 banger, I got it in 2012 and was already converted to 5.0/5spd and some retarded meth head must have painted it outside in a dust storm as it would have made a Maaco job look like a show car. Had some rust issues hiding as well as some HORRIBLE "repairs" to the body from previous accidents I didn't know about.

After I took care of the mechanical, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, etc. I finally said screw it and sent it to Kevin at K and K for paint and body. We figured out how bad the body was and bought a donor shell that we used everything but the roof and floor of to repair my car. It would have been way cheaper and easier to just buy a decent donor shell with a title and use that instead, but oh well, it is what it is. The car has a T-Top conversion now and will also get a build 4.6 4V from a 97 Cobra with a Vortech V1 S Trim, aftercooler, built T56, and already has an IRS. I'd say we are about half way through the build.

Is that an aftermarket T top set up?

"Technically" they are all aftermarket as every one of them went to Cars and Concepts to get converted to T-Top after leaving the factory before going to the dealers. This is just a conversion that was taken off a donor mustang, completely dismantled/repaired/reinforced and then installed the same way as C and C did it back in the day. Even the reinforcements on the door frames were added to my doors and Kevin made a reinforcement plate for the back half of the roof to keep it straight.

I installed the FoxLox keyless entry in my 87.
Works great!

Yep, installed it on my Fox a couple weekends ago. I love it. Works great on the door locks.

However. I couldn't get my trunk lock to work though. When I would press the key fob the hatch would not open. When I would press the hatch release button in the glove box I would blow a fuse. So, I disconnected the orange wire from the purple with yellow stripe wire and the glove box switch works without blowing the fuse now.

All I need are the doors anyway. Was getting tired of using the key to unlock the door LOL.

That is very strange. Mine has worked fine. Having the hatch pop on the keyfob is most convenient!

The convertible is back at the house for the summer months. The rear shocks looks to be leaking. I have oe spec Monroe struts and shocks I'll be installing along with Gabriel quad shocks. Looks to be the original ones.

I'll also be ordering some tires as these are weathered bad. Only spending about 300 dollars on them. They will get more old before I get the mileage out of them.

Hopefully this improves the ride quality a bit.

I need to replace the quarter window motor on the passenger side and probably the guide rod bushings on both....the rear passenger side one barely goes up....

So another project, maybe for next winter.

I hate junkyard hopping these days, but got desperate in my search for a clean 01-04 black trunk lid for my GT.

So i stopped in one to take a look. A couple fox bodies, and about 10 SN95's. None had the lid I need.

But walking out, I spy this

Couldn't really leave it there now, so $100 later I took it home with me

I realize there are a few differences, but I have a few parts T5's that had busted gearsets. With what I have, i should be able to convert this into a Fox-compatible T5 pretty easily. Will be a nice spare to keep handy, plus I enjoy building T5's.
