I picked up my wheels today from AFS. Very nice people and very service oriented.

I got a chance to meet Tim, the owner and his son. They showed me some "Top Secret" projects they are working on, but said I could post here when I asked.

I saw some beautiful Sonic Blue Anodized wheels and also some ..get this...BLACK CHROME in our style.

We talked about the reds thats we've seen posted here, and he gave me some pics of them on a car...not my style....but I can see where someone would use them.

Were the "Black Chrome" ones regular 5 spoke? Did you happen to get a pic of those?

Thanks,
Bill

well, i was going to  ... cuz it's a nice car & different.
this is a tough crowd/forum!
i wouldn't do it, but i also wouldn't speak out unless it totally crossed the line.
to each his own, YMMV, and all that stuff...

all i can say is, i wouldn't do that unless i had the HP to back it up.
IOW, don't write checks you can't cash! :lol1:

be a little more compassionate!

oh, yes, the GT-R emblem is wrong...

That's some crazy looking Mustang! That about unique! I bet that shows up in a few mags someday soon. It probably looks sick in person. It's definitely a head turner that's for sure! Thanks for the pics!

I would like to see the Sonic Blue ones. I think they would look good as long as the color is really close.

Is that an 03 Cobra? If so, I probably wouldn't know it if I saw it riding down the street. It's different I'll give him that, but so are our 03's just the way they are. I have a white 03 myself, but can't find my car in their. Kinda like the fuel door that's been put on, but it probably only would look good with his other changes. I have a neighbor who has an 00 or 01 Mustang with those tail lights, and a grill in the front, and other cosmetic items, and I just have to giggle a bit when they drive by or when I cruise by their house on the way home and they are checking me and my 03 out. I'll give this person credit for having the guts to buy those rims though.

I don't think it is an 03. If you look really close at the mirrors, they are not painted. They are solid black.

Hard to tell, but you may be right. I just assumed since Randy lists an 03 cobra in his avatar section.
