SVTP,

Need some SRA Backspacing Advice. Going to pull the trigger on some new Weld Alumastars. I have the opportunity to get in on the first dealer buy in of a new performance shop not local to me and am receiving 20% a new set of Welds as a part of the new dealer buy in.

I sold my FTBR built IRS and went with a fully built 94-98 SRA. Could never get it to do what I wanted performance wise at 705RWHP.

The SRA measures 60.75" flange to flange. Best I can tell, I need a 6" backspace for the welds. Need the SVTP Gods to step in and give me some advice on proper backspacing for a drag strip application without rolling fenders (if possible).

Search function not applicable for 2018, looking for recent feedback thanks.

Best,
SVTXTC

15x10 with 6.5 backspacing puts my wheels very close on the inside. 6.25 would be better.
I also run 17x11 7.5 backspacing with a 3/4in spacer, so that’s 6.75 backspacing on that wheel. No clearance issue.
