I'm becoming more impressed with the smaller BMW's such as the 128i and M2, 12.7 stock 1/4 is not too bad. Oh and this belongs in pic and video.

Fellow granny shifted the manual 5.0 to 13.7 1/4 mile.
BMW went 12.7 in the 1/4 mile

Thats like 01 Cobra times.

I think a DCT in a s550 5.0 would clock low 12's in the 1/4 mile.

I'll say it again, M car versus your typical GT. Auto versus manual (not apples-to-apples). Driver is not good. I want to see a typical 2 Series car versus your typical GT. This is a poorly, biased comparison to make America look bad and pander to their subhuman audience. Sorry, I can't swallow that. If the GT would have faced a non-M 2 Series and lost, I could handle that, it would have been fair. This was not fair. Good lord, it is hard to find a magazine with some integrity.

M2 is the best 2 Series BMW offers, right? The GT is not the best Mustang, is it? Since there is no auto in the GT350R, they should test/compare a normal 2 Series against the normal GT. Would you compare an AMG E63 to a standard CTS (or whatever)? Of course not.

Mustang is less money, more weight and a manual. Fun to see the comparison but stupid to compare. Isn't that like a 20,000 dollar difference between the two?
