I got lucky and did not have to file anything at all to get them to fit.

it's very easy, put a towel down underneath so your engine bay doesn't get filthy. I'm by no means very mechanically skilled unfortunately, and I did this myself. You'll be fine.

Did the same on my 04. I think alot of people did that orginally. Linear FTW. I later went to I think it was the H&R but was too low and changed to Steeda.
