Vortech and a air-air IC

Has anyone added a air to air intercooler to a vortech setup. I have a 97 cobra and I don't think the aftercooler setup is worth the extra 1700 and wonder if there's a air to air kit out there.

i have one on my 97 but i bought the kit used so its a innovative turbo IC and i had to make my own brackets etc....

CX Racing makes a nice inexpensive kit. i use it with my vortech 2v

Buy a 31X12X3 Intercooler,yank off the stock bumper support and replace with a Donathen Racing Chromoly piece, fabricate some mounts and do your piping!
A lot less than $1700
