VMP installed.... little hiccups

Well after 3 evenings and 2 full days of working on it, I started it up first time tonight. I installed
Opgs
Crank sprocket
Vmp gen2R stage 2

Started right up but is missing. At idle and under throttle. No CEL though.

So I guess I'll be data logging and searching for the miss now.

Question:
Do the fans on the HE always run with key on?

Fans normally run with key ON.

Regarding the miss. How pronounced is it? This might be interesting to you.

If yours sounds like something else and a genuine problem. I'm sure your tuner can help you get that figured out. I assume you've gone over the coils and the plugs to make sure that is all good to go.

Thanks for that link. I think mine is a little different.
Mine is more than slight. And it does it through the rpms.
Going back over the basics tomorrow to confirm that I didn't miss something

I have no idea on maf curve. It's a vmp tune.

Check and make sure the filter isnt too far onto the tube. Meaning there is a detemt on the inside of the filter that its not supposed to pass. Maybe play with that a bit. Vmp had told me some guys get a somewhat similar issue and that they intake was finicky.

Well it's got a screen on the inside of the filter, it's on until it touches the screen. I will pull it down a bit though.

I never had to do one but you can do one.

Ok got the rough running straight.
My launch control (MSD) was setup wrong.....
Stupid mistake....
All good now. Just need to setup boost gauge and data log.


Where do I tap in for boost?
