Nice to meet you too. Why do you feel the need to be negative and unfriendly? We were invited to this forum by the owner/administrator, just like you. Did you realize that the Marauder was originally planned to be released as the Ford SVT Blackhawk? So the roots of the Marauder are solidly planted in SVT.

The Marauder is far from ugly, it gets looks anyplace it goes, I love Mustangs, in fact I own 3 of them, but Mustangs are everyplace you go, including your Cobra. Your ego gets bruised easy? I would love to line up with you sometime and hand you your ass, beaten soundly by a 4 door sedan. So why dont you go post your insults in the "I just jerked off over my Cobra again" Forum. What happened to enjoying our cars without dealing with morons like this?

Awesome man. I was just disappointed after reading all the posts and thought I would spruce it up with some comments. Look, my ego does not get bruised easily, I know for every fast Cobra out there, there are 10 cars faster. I don't really think you will "hand" me my ass in your 4 door, however I'm sure you will win with the way mine sits currently. Welcome to the forums man, I meant no harm.

Why does cost have to be figured into the justification of a win? I think it's great that you have a few Marauders running better 1/4 mile times than the Ford GT's, but to bring up the fact that you have $XX,XXX invested vs. the Ford GT costing $XXX,XXX?? Any car can be made to go fast, and the more knowledge you have and the more work you can do on your own, the cheaper it will cost. I could dump $5k into a $2k 1986 Mustang and run 11's, but it is what it is. $$$ does not equal horsepower.. Hell, my little 4 door Contour will dust a Cadillac Escalade in ANY performance aspect accept for what, towing?? I just don't see a point to bring it up.. As for the Ford GT, at the end of the day, that Ford GT owner can sell that car for pretty much what he paid for it, with the demand for them. Unfortunately, the case isn't the same for guys like you and me that dump thousands into our cars. We do have the sleeper effect going for us though! :thumbsup:
I'm not trying to bring rain to anyone's parade, I guess I'm just blunt. Again, badass Marauders you guys have!! I guess I just hear the argument of "I spent half of what you spent and kicked your ass" way too often.. :beer:

Clearly the videos involve a Ford GT; it is perfectly natural that they can be shown on this board. With that attitude why are you outside the Cobra Forum anyway? It'd be much easier to contain your mouth over there, at least you wouldn't be flaunting our "soiled linens" in front of other members.

What possible quarrel could you have with the Marauder folks using practically the same technology that improved your car? If you think things should be left alone, I hear that Model Ts have appreciated nicely; maybe you should be out looking instead of in here? :bored:

Cool vids man. I have always been a fan of the Marauders. I was dissapointed as well when they dropped them. Now I would not own one myself since I am not a car guy but I have always liled the big black marauders. What a sleeper.

Yep...at Michigan last year! What a blast. The guy in the Cobra said he was doing around 160 MPH when I passed him. I didnt realize the photographer took a great picture as proof. Mike is right, Drive shaft is a MUST and removing the speed limiter via chip or tuner.

I could be mistaken but, is that a 70's porn stash I see in there?
