vented bpv

For those of you using the stock procharger valve vented, do you run the little filter on the end of the bpv? Im wanting to get some more sound out of it until I get my vortec mondo valve welded in place

I had the same idea... So i bought a mini K&N filter to fit, and needless to say when the valve released it shot off, hit the ground went about 10ft in the air and almost landed on a friends cobra's hood 3 cars back :nonono:
