The fight is against another over the hill Thai boxer whom are notorious for taking dives for pay. Thai boxing is more corrupt than boxing if you can belive that. JCVD Muai Thai is very good, but its not what it was 15 years ago.

JCVD and Seagal did get into an arguement at a house party hosted by Sly Stallone. Seagal turned down the fight and left the party. Afterwards JCVD hunted Seagal down at a titty bar where he tried to start a fight again. Many witnesses reported JCVD did everything to start a fight including throwing a drink in Seagal's face who looked very frightened. (At this time JCVD was very unstable due to his addiction to perscription medications.

Not long after on Feb 4, 1998 JCVD was knocked out by Mickey Rourke's bodyguard infamous Chuck Zito with one shot to the jaw and was out cold.

I saw a guy once who used to be a full contact fighter years ago. He tried a come back after years of being out of the game. Used to be a very good fighter. Better than JCVD ever. Royce Gracie or something like that.
