Is it really worth 400 greenbacks?? I want to order it but man $400 is some coin for a detector. If it is truely worth the money and doesn't give off false alarms I will buy it. How many false alarms do you guys get with yours???

It has filtered settings that let you ignore the BS stuff and concentrate on the ones that are going to cause you trouble. I really like it but have never used the Passport or what ever to compare it to. It has really helped in finding where Johnny law is hiding.

I haven't owned one myself, but if I felt the need to buy one, that would be the one I would buy! I have heard no complaints regarding this detector. I would rather just save $400 and not speed though lol. There is a time and place for everything and that is the only time I exceed the speed limit. If I am speeding it is probably becuase I am racing and no detector in the world will prevent me from that ticket!

The Valentine One to a Fast Car is like a Bullet-Proof condom to a Hooker.

You gotta have the best protection... lol

On the other hand my Escort Solo S2 saved me 2-3 times last weekend too...

All in all I think the V1 is probably slightly better (if for anything the arrows!!!) But I know my solo S2 has never failed me in my Lightning or Cobra. It is super clean install b/c it is cordless (battery operated). It has motion sensors that turn it off when the car has stopeed for 5 minutes and alerts you to turn it back on when it senses movement again...

It is also about $100 cheaper...

Good Luck
Jeff

Saves my a$$ on a Daily basis. I had my V1 in my Viper,Z06,
and now my Cobra. If it wasn't for the V1 I might not have my
license and at a minimum it has saved me a fortune in insurance
costs vs. speeding tickets.

I have one - It's worth it. I wouldn't buy anything else now that I have lived with it for a while. It has paid for itself many times over.

Mine still falses on non cop radar, but the arrows eliminate the thought of it been a cop, because as you drive by a false the arrows move from front to side to back in order and let you know your past the false. Seperate bogey counter really works also i think it can register 8 or 9 seperate detections at one time!!!!

I have four and yes its worh it as the ad says once you drive with the arrows you can't go back. I know I bought a escort and couldn't stand it with out the arrow to let me know where that cop is. Its real nice to know where the cop is coming from.
