I worked with Ed on deciding to degree them this way. The plan is to get the torque curve to come in as early as possible. The torque should be closer to a twin screw curve. I don't want to deal with any lag. But, I will keep the sweet hp curve of a centri that just keeps growing the whole way.

Thanks!

Gotcha, just be careful not to miss a shift cause depending on your duration I bet your PTV on the intake side is tight.

Love the hydro dipping on the upper parts, going to look great once its dropped in. If you dont mind pm me who did it and what the valve covers cost.

Looks like a very nice setup. Top notch on the
dip work.

Bryan does an awesome job!

My pistons were custom with 4 large reliefs put in. PTV clearance was .180". Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks, Bryan(blkGT500ca I think on here) did them. I did all the parts at once so I don't have a price break down, just pm him and he will get U a quote.

Well we didn't work on it terribly long today. But, the motor is in, next up the transmission, I really don't feel like putting that in!!

At least you don't have to figure out how to put a 4l80e behind it lol

So today I had to turn down my pivot ball for the clutch fork so it would thread further in. That way there would be clearance to the clutch. I went with the McLeod RXT. Took about an 1/8" off.

After:

Then not too long after we had the transmission in.

Then we got the driveshaft in, all the exhaust on. Ran the wiring harness to the starter.

Then I filled up the transmission with amsoil ATF, installed MGM shifter, and Tyson hooked up the clutch cable and we set it.
