Update Thread: 8 Second LTD wagon Not so sleeper/Sleeper Build

Well, for some reason most of the links to the pics in the original build thread are down, and I don't feel like going through 100 pics and re-linking them, So i'm just gonna start a new thread with progress from this point on.

Progress from the last 2 months:

Rear is together, ends removed and straightened, and back in the car, and things are shaping up.

4.10's in, Spool, 33 spline axles.

Aerospace drilled rotors

4 pistons calipers, so now 16 pistons stopping, 8 going!

Ditched the booster, and the vacuum pump I had running my brakes, in favor of big bore Strange Master

Back in!

Back on all 4's.. (well technically all 4 wheel dollies)

Denny's Nitrous ready 3.5' Driveshaft for the Powerglide, and went with the spicer yoke setup over the factory flange

Motor is back out for some motor plate machining for the accessories, and engine bay prep.

Motor plate all machined and accessories mounted

Engine bay work, also mounting of standalone, and pump.

Custom shroud for griffin radiator. AN fittings all around.

Super Victor powder coated before fogger install.

Monte Smith Fogger installed

Back in place! Almost ready to drop in!

Also picked up one of these guys, i'll be driving this car everywhere, and it's invaluable for tuning/safety.

Hopefully should have a video of it firing within the month!

So getting closer to firing this broad. Thought i'd share the progress, about a month away from firing.

Back up in the air for engine bay prep/paint

Filling in holes, and mounting air horns

Test mount of standalone

Pics of custom shroud/mount setup for radiator. Support was removed and mounting on tubular pipe to angle it to fit.

Noticed that the Caster/camber plates were tweaked. Been using the Qa1 tubular front end w/ coilovers since the 2006 build of my 87 fox. So decided to go a little ham, and get a new front end courtesy of TeamZ. Opted for the Motor plated version of their K-frame, the A-arms, and the new plates.

Test mount of motor/accessories.

Aaaand out it comes again to finish engine bay

She's back in!

Now is the final stretch, running new fuel lines, new brake lines, and misc fittings and the such. Can't wait to start it soon!

Finally fired!

Well, obviously with any project car and the "one month away from firing" line, life doesn't go as planned. Anyhoo, got to get her up and running today, and couldn't be happier. Here's some update pics of progress, and the vid of it firing for the first time like a top.
