unusual shortrunner question

If the imrc's are working properly then theoretically there would be a benefit to keeping them and adding a shortrunner right? I realize the carbon build up issues some have had but just curious if this would keep more power down low while getting the benefits of the shortrunner. I would have pm'd Na SVT directly but thought others might be curious as well.

The IMRCs may cost a couple hp up top but they would increase the low rpm torque and driveability. Stock they open up at 3500, but opening them up later, around 4000, may be better.
