I was going to ask which one offers a better driving experience but I remembered one is a road car and the other is a straight up racecar. Is there anything comparable between the generations? And any plans to land an original Gulf liveried GT40?
And yes, I'd love one of the original Gulf GT40s. They go for ~$10M however, so there's a long list of things ahead of that purchase...
Superformance. Those are like 80% an original GT40, made using the factory molds. Only things improved are like wiring, suspension and brakes. You pick your own engine so you can have built exactly what won Le Mans.

The epitome of the saying, “I want it, I bought it”. Kudos.
I've said it before, and will no doubt again: you guys are a bad influence.
@treynor
Did you buy this from the Canepa collection? Also, not sure if you answered, but are you getting Gordon Murray's T.50?
Ben is your street car NFGT going to a heritage car?
My curiosity goes to the purchasing experience. Do you deal directly with Ford? And if so, do you have a personal concierge for the process? Do you have the ability to communicate to the upper levels of Ford?
Such awesome cars. Hope you enjoy every second in them.
For the New Ford GT racecar, you just contact Multimatic directly and just order it. Ford is not in the picture.
Gotcha.
So, same questions for Multimatic? How are they to deal with?

These were taken from the old Miller motor sports Park museum outside of Salt Lake City Utah. As enjoyable as it is to see these, I would take a superformance over an original for the ability to drive it over losing value if it runs longer then 10 minutes
