So a few months back i started an "On3 performance single turbo" build thread, i decided to change my direction with the car, and i decided to also go twin turbo instead. That being said, i purchased a used Street lethal performance kit. the kit is generally pretty nice, its definitely not top quality, but i wouldnt expect it to be since it isnt a $10000 kit either. the kit was originally made with for 50mm turbos, but i opted to run 57mm garrett turbos instead with a .48 a/r exhaust housing and a .60 a/r compressor housing. the turbo hotside is ceramic coated as well as the manifolds. i also unwrapped the hotside piping and wire wheels it to clean it all up and then sprayed them with 2000 degree exhaust paint to coat it before i re-wrap them. the cold side is aluminum and i have a 3" intercooler, unsure of the brand to be honest. i intend on running TiAL waste gates and blow off valve, and when all is said and done, the car will be a twin turbo solid axle car with 3.27 FD ratio, and with the T-56, a 26 spline upgrade, centerforce dfx clutch, spec aluminum flywheel. it will also have a 6 point cage, kirkey racing seats, possibly simpson harnesses, HVAC delete, radio and custom abs delete, all sound deadener removed, and hopefully a Lethel performance budget return fuel system with 60# injectors if money permits.

Interior going back in, dash only secured with 5 bolts, its actually solid, but this will allow quick removal for any reasons

You might want to run some RTV behind that unused bolt hole. It's a known leak area.

appreciated, and it is, i found this out on this forum from another turbo guy, i forget who, but he said he didnt fill it and he had a slow leak for a month and could never found it, and then one day noticed it... i put some behind and i filled the hole completely, i hope its enough, i hate trusting RTV in this particular situation

Nice build! Can't wait to see the outcome, are you doing all the work yourself?

yes i am, the only work i wont be doing is the welding of the cage, it will be chromoly, and i have never welded chromoly before. a good friend of mine builds asphalt circle track chassis' for a living, so he is gonna help me build a 6 or 8 point cage and TIG it all together for me. ill probably leave the cage bare to because chromoly looks amazing when its TIG welded properly, plus if its bare, itll be easier to be tech'd at a track, and if it starts to get surface rust i can just give it a quick wipe with a rag with some WD-40

I ordered my wastegates yesterday, and also a new blow off valve because the one the kid had on the kit on his car was a cheaper one. I bought 2 TiAL 38mm WG's and a 50mm TiAL BOV. but on another exciting note for my build, my rear suspension came in today!

BIG NEWS!!! Fuel System, ORDERED!!!!
Lethal Performance 99-04 4V Budget Return Style Fuel System [LP-9904BUDGETRETURN-4V] : Lethal Performance, Performance parts for Ford Mustangs
extremely excited, it was a big decision, and it might mean it takes a little longer to finish the car (maybe mid may at the latest) but i didnt want to do all that work to the car this year just to run the stock fuel system and make the same power i had last year. cant wait to get it in, Speed Inc supposedly shipped the wastegates and BOV today as well, and my new front rotors will be in tomorrow so i can have a rolling chassis again for the first time in 4 months! still so much to buy and do, but at least its dwindling down to the final stretch!

Well since i dont have codys main bearings yet, and my teacher wont let me do codys axle because he wants me to do it with the support housing and some other crap at the transmission shop on wellsville campus, ive been picking away at little crap i can do to my car till i get my parts. speed inc claims that they should have my wastegates by Friday but im not holding my breath. today i ended up relocating my fuse box underneath my fender well, ill take pictures on thursday since i work tomorrow and have to miss school, but i atleast got the front end finished, brand new OEM rotors and Hawk HPS pads
