nice vid. i know this is random but do you live in GA? I saw a black SRT4 just like yours the other day, and it didnt sound stock.

No, I stay in MI the handjob state. :)

nice but turbo still sounds tiny!

Cobalt has stock turbo = tiny

Red Srt4 has a AGP 3.0 turbo, 57lb+ check it out, :read: good size.

Mine has a 18g or 55trim wheel on a td05 housing, decent size. :)

CObalt needs more mods.

This week he has some goods coming it for it to make it better.

If there's one positive thing I can say about my '09 Cobalt SS is that it runs pretty good with just a tune @ 22psi. Big difference over stock!

I have no desire at all to further modify it.

Love the sound of a spooling turbo, but never been a fan of open wastegates.

I drove my friend's SRT-4 with a 50 trim running around 20 psi and that thing was damn quick.

Well 18G is a 55trim 68x50.5mm compressor
20G is a 60trim 68x52.5mm compressor

I have no lag with a 18G wheel on my tial turbine. The bigger compressor was 6grams lighter then the 1 I replaced. With my rpms limited to 6500 I really didn't want to go 20G because of fuel issue & window of power. The 18G is the most efficent out of the 16-20G wheels. It been nothing but smiles since I built the turbo myself. I run a 26-28 psi on mine, small or not I get it done.

I don't really have much lag on the 20G.. I added quite a bit of timing where my turbo spools up, so full spool at 3400 and I take it up to 8000 so I don't mind :).
