Interesting... I never messed with any of that after the original person who built the baseline tune gave me the mtf file. I’ve done a lot of little drivability tweeks. How would I go about fixing it? How do you know it’s corrupted in prp?
in a functions the x axis top and bottom most values must always be set to maximum otherwise the ecu will go off in lala land if the input is out of that range
The 60 and 20lb need to be set back to 128 and 0
15.89 and 6 v need to be set back to 15.99 and 0
Does this look correct? My only concern is that I can't add rows to maintain the same values and granularity in the function. These are pretty close to perfect linear equations. So perhaps I just calculate the slope values for 128 and 0 and insert those to complete the linear function?
You can do it yourself no problem, just rewrite the code to make it do whatever you want. I have a full disassembly write up on my website that tells you everything you need to know.
I'll definitely check it out. Let me ask you this then... do you think its possible for the ECU to accept input from an ethanol sensor to adjust the stoich setting automatically - (true flex fuel)?
OK fixed the deltap tables and loaded the new tune. Heat soaked the crap out of it, brought it back home, let it sit for about 6-7 minutes, let the prime run for 10 seconds and what do ya know..... starts right up like a dream come true.
