the main tables they protect from most tuners or pro racer customers is the drive by wire tables for safety reasons.

Even if we bought the pro racer package or whatever it is, aren't there different levels of access the public is allowed to tune vs tuners, and even some tuners have more access than others, correct?

Call them, tell them you're not a new tuner, if you've tuned vehicles in the past, and they'll upgrade your access level over the phone.

They prevent you from having access to drive by wire and variable cam tables. The variable cam tables are a pretty important part of a proper tune, why they lock the average joe out of access to these after dropping the cash for the software is beyond me.
