Get yourself a IRS brace, bolt on some slicks and let her rip (5K plus). Soft sidewalls are your friend.

If thats the case Evolutions Dyno (Mustang Dyno) reads a little lower than a Dynojet which is what the OP ran on. If your 298 on a MD then your around 315-325 on a dyno jet.

Only way to tell for sure is to make a pull on a Dynojet. Too many variables with a Mustang Dyno, I've seen some Mustang Dynos read higher than Dynojets (thanks to operator).

I just got my Cobra back from Walsh Motorsports today,it made 325 hp and 322 lbs. tq. My mods are Dynomax long-tubes, o/r x pipe, JLT cai, and SCT chip. I was pleased.
