It's not just the insanity of the prices but how junky most of the stuff is!

99-04 Mustang GT's with over 100k on them in the teens

Pontiac GTO's that are ratted out but have a BTR cam for $20k

Rusty Fox bodies with the stock 302 for $15k

C5 Corvettes for $20k (to be fair there are some for around $10k again but they are truly junk)

Also if you have a drag pack and a cowl hood on a 13 second car, **** you for making click on it just to find out you don't have shit done to it

The bottom has definitely risen since c19.
You look at what cars are going for now, and its no surprise used-even higher mileage cars are being tried to be sold as high as they are.

But how are they on the market/ actually sold at those prices?

I’ve been eyeing another new edge to build. Tryin to find a slightly ratted out one with high mileage and in my area they aren’t priced too high. A lot of them are, yes. I have found several under $6k, some even in the $3-4k range. They are out there but yeah, in general car prices are stupid.

I don’t have fakebook but i use my wife’s. I should post a link to an 03 cobra for sale in my area…you all will love it!

Look at this beauty. Started out at $36k…this dude is on crack.

The sad part is, that person truly believes that black vinyl shit enhances the vehicle.

Wow, that has to be one of the worst ones I’ve seen in a while. I’d like to know what the person was thinking when they decided to paint all of those panels black.

Some may be pricing high because you can always come down but its real hard to go up on the price lol. Its like a fishing expedition throw out a number and see if they bite!

I just posted an example of this in the random shit thread the other day.

MY own 99 GT that I sold with ~110k miles, in pretty good condition, for 3500 dollars back in 2016, is now listed for 7k. 144k miles, replacement motor, replacement transmission, interior torn to hell, clear coat peeling in a couple places…

Just retarded.

It's ****ed right now. I have been waiting for prices to fall to grab another toy.

I am about to pay off my daily driver and had plans to pick something up. I am probably going to wait because prices are so jacked up.

Some of this stuff also seems influenced by YouTubers. C5s for example were cheap for a long time. Then they gained traction on YouTube and prices started climbing.

You could also draw the same conclusion with the 2V New Edge cars.

I’ve been keeping my eye on 1994/1995 Cobras because I’d really like to have one of those to complete my collection. I’ve seen rollers without the Cobra motor for $7k in my back of the woods.
