I've had the car since 2013 and I think atleast my car (build late 2012) had 2nd gear lock out issues that are easy to fix... IF you tear into the transmission. The MGW, blow fish, torque arms,WOT box etc all are not fixes. Not even close. Maybe late 13 or 24 cars are fixed with the MGW...mineCongrats on the upgrade.
Curious, I thought everyone raved about the MGW solving the shift issues in these cars ??

Yep, just not financially worth it. The T56 XL comes with SFI bellhousing, i get a much lighter and arguably stronger driveshaft and if I wanted, I could've gone with a more aggressive 1st gear. Good to know, my car is just going to be a 1/2 mile car, I have zero interest in drag racing lol.If you drag raced and launch hard, id recommend it with a DS loop. If you half mile race like I do with no hard launches, id keep what you got. OEM is a nice unit for most setups

I already bought a bmr loop to put on when the engine goes back in, the first half mile event is in late October.Worse case throw a loop on it to pass inspection... even though CF explodes when it breaks.
