I had mine replaced after they couldn't fix the whine. It was very noticeable in my car in 1st-4th gear and quiet through 5-6. It was like that when I picked it up with 500 miles on it. My new tranny has about 12k miles on it now and is perfect.

4100 miles on my 13' but from what I hear the 13's dont have this issue:shrug:
Psssshhhhh mine is kina loud but quited with the fluid swap
