Its because if you know the Transformer's story line you would know that the Decepticons are actually Cybertron's armed forces so they are all military other "tough" looking vehicles, in the cartoon they are also the only ones that can fly while in robot mode. The Autobots are basically a civilian militia who combat them after the Decepticon leader, Megatron, who was supposed to protect them go nutso.

i was actually at the shooting for transformers 2 in bethlehem,at bethelehem steel i have some cool video of the set being filmed as well as some nice shots of the actors there. FTW!

I dont care what anybody says im a 80's baby (1981) and grew up on these things. I love the animated movies and action figures, etc. I think it's cool that they can bring back old school toys back to life but better than ever.
