There was a time when many (primarily the GM fanbois) felt the LS engine series was "touched by the hand of God". Given the release of the 5.8 Trinity motor in the GT500, I thought this was a good analogy:

I totally agree on this, the 4.6L DOHC S/C (Terminator motor) started the a** whoopin' and the 2013 5.8L DOHC S/C (Trinity) Just gave another. I can't tell you the joy I feel that SVT stepped up to the plate, again.:beer::rockon:

A friend of mine had this made into a sticker and put on his Trans-Am as a joke lol, I just sent him the pic in the OP
To the LS1 defense it is very easy to work on and you can slap these thing on anything from an old muscle car to newer fox body... That is one hell of a motor really user friendly . However it ain't no terminator motor it's not no beast ford has created one hell of a power mill
