I hear metal cooling sounds like creaks, cracks and pops...not like anything broke, just like when hot metal is cooling off. Is this normal since these engines are aluminum and expand and contract??

my original motor AND the Forged one sound off randomly like your talking about for up to 10 minutes in my garage when the motor is cooling down, I thought it was weird with one motor setup then it still does it? I'm gonna say it's normal unless others don't think so? Maybe the oil pressure in the valvetrain (lifters etc..) is releasing?

Cool...runs like a beast and I've got about 6000 miles since the forged internals and the turbo went on...pushing over 500 and no kaboom is good, so...I suppose peoples field test "Operation First Motor Build, First Turbo Instal DIY unitl failure" continues!
