I read this article, I am a black man and I have no issues with the current situation.

Strange. The prevailing "wisdom" was that minorities were disproportionately represented in the military.
In other news, the Chinese military has WAAAAY too many Chinese men in it.
Guess we should draft more minorities.....oh wait.........

EDIT: didn't read the OP's article.
The reason this is so is because the majority race in the US is white. That being said, with a much greater number of whites, there will always be more whites with better opportunities, unfortunately. Until the minorities become less of minorities this will be the case.
