232mph is nuts in general, but in a door car in the 1/4..... that takes balls of steel. that thing is sickkk

Different car I think.

Yea, John Carter's car is definitely not the same. Lynch's car was built by Skinny Kid and I believe they started on the car before the ZR1s had come out. It has probably been close to 2 years in the making for this car.

i wonder how much more the cars got in it

Well, I honestly can't say. Dan Millen has been a 3.78 1/8th on the 10.5 inch tire in a blown pro mod, so I don't think the tire is a limiting factor as much as the weight is for an Outlaw 10.5 car. I think this car went a 4.15 to the 1/8th. Its just hard to push 3000 pounds down the quarter. I bet this car will go 6.0x next year at this race. Proline claims that their 670 is capable of 4000HP, so the trick is just getting that all to the ground with a 3000 pound car.

Brad Personnett went a 5.80@254 at this race with a big tire, twin turbo, NHRA legal pro mod.
