Throwing a bid in on a cobra

Before I bid on this cobra, just wanted to make sure the price is right an all.

$17,000.
All around clean car. NO problems and/or flaws.

To keep from multiple posts, I'm now looking at ANOTHER mustang, not the one mentioned above

The car has two scratches, that a bigger than your average scratch, but nothing major. Front brakes make some noise when hot

I wouldn't buy anything [ especially a cobra/muscle car ] I couldn't touch, drive, smell, look under, rub the inner fender wells, pull the dipstick and run the oil between my fingers, smell the oil,look under the seats....hell you get the idea, you live close and sounds like you know what to do 17k is a good price.
When I bought my 5.0 many moons ago the owner after watching me drive around rather conservativly said " what the f**k are you waitng for stand on this bitch" I did... bought the car, had it 7 years and put 125.000k on it. his confidence in his ride is why I bought it.

My car was 99.9% stock any only ever had a short throw on it, but I still flew to Baltimore to give it a look. A couple hundred bucks for a flight or a few minutes of your time to view it will be worth it. You're spending 20k so it's not alot up front to ensure you're not getting something completely beat on.

Stay far away, very far away. I put a deposit down on this car two days ago and just got it back, luckily. The car has been wrecked twice and has some suspicious stuff going on with the odometer.

If you look at the pictures in the ad, you can see where the motor seems to have some scrapes on it and some of the pictures show a front bumper without the chin spoiler, some with it. This would explain the front end damage that was recent. Also, note the dates of the pictures.
