Just had my spec stage 1 clutch and stock flywheel go out and ended
up having to buy new ones. After some searching around I bought a
spec stage 3 clutch kit and a spec aluminum flywheel.

any thoughts or comments on this combo?

I plan on using the spec 2+ clutch and aluminum flywheel. I hear the spec 3 clutch has a hard on off feel, you cant slip them very well which sucks for driving on the street. The spec 2+ is supposed to be a lot more streetable and is rated at 669 ft lb torque as opposed to the 680 ft lb torque of the spec 3.

I disagree. My spec stg3 is totally slipable. Not a hard on off feel at all.. I guess everyone has a different idea on what's able to be slipped and not though..

Ive never seen the point in choosing a clutch that is overkill for the application, and taking a chance to put extra stress on other engine/driveline components.
