thx man . and if none of you know the engine space is same on every ford except for the compact ones like escort and focus.u can fit a 6.0L turbo diesel in ur mustang....... its one of those factory standardization things which makes it easier for the plant people to install engines... and also makes it so ford doesnt have to change design much for the new year models like for instance the new cobra's have a s/c twin intercooled 5.4L in it but the 4.6 and 5.4 L engine are same size just 5.4 is a longer bore.

Nothing, for those of you who dont know, Phil Henry is a radio comedian, he plays several characters at one time. In this instance, he pretends to be some redneck trash who thinks an IROC Camaro is god. Trust me, that is not a realk persons opinions.

your incorrect again. a 5.4 has a taller deck than a 4.6, making it both wider and taller. and the 6.8 has the same deck hight as a 5.4 + 2 cylinders.

and the V10 is not a production crown vic. it is a one off car. wheres the production vics???

hmm propane will run in your mustang it just takes 6 gallons for every one gallon of gas to do the same job so its less efficient. and i didnt specify how in size the engine blocks are the same now did i? by sayin is has a longer bore that means the engine is taller wow!!! learn something new? and like i said the V10 is special order not a massive production car.

Read again,
For kicks, he pulled the original 4.6-liter V-8 out of this 1999 Interceptor and dropped in a 6.8-liter V-10 and transmission originally intended for a Ford F-series pickup. F-series trucks use both V-8 and V-10 engines, so the engine mounts were pretty much where they needed to be in the Interceptor.
The big truck transmission didn't fit quite that easily. It was necessary to cut and reshape the Interceptor's cowl, as well as relocate and fabricate new transmission mounts. The car's original aluminum driveshaft had to be shortened to fit, but it turns out that's a good thing, since some originals have had high-speed vibration problems that shortening may cure.

This was done by Scott Adler motorsports, NOT FORD.

:nonono: You don't actually believe what you're saying, do you? You're trying to say that the Taurus, F-150/250/350, Crown Vic, etc. all share the same engine bay as a Mustang. And you're on crack if you think a 6.0L Powerstroke will fit in a Stang without a CRAP LOAD of work (like widening and extending the front end, adding a 3 foot cowl hood...). It's people like you that make non-enthusiasts even dumber than they already were. Know what you're talking about before you start running your mouth please.

A 5.4L is NOT the same size as a 4.6L. Did you see all the work they had to do to the '00 Cobra R to make a N/A 5.4L fit? Hint: Look at the raised hood. And what is TWIN intercooling exactly? If a 5.4L barely fits in the Cobra R, what makes you think a supercharged 5.4 will fit in the new Mustang? That's about as likely as them putting a 6.0L Powerstroke in the new GTs. :rollseyes

Has anyone even rode in an Iroc Camaro, they are about the weakest V8 car made, with the big 305. but as long as you have the T-tops which I thick comes on about all the Iroc's but you know the T-tops add probably 25 hp, And the custom flame decals that that dude has is pretty "Mexicanized" with the neon liscence plate frame and chain steering wheel. And dosen't Radar have to bouces off you to get a reading anyways? That guy is such an idiot.

That guy is a douchbag. I have an 86 Iroc with "t-tops" and its not that fast even thought it is a TPI V-8. Its a crap 305. I love camaros but an a stock Iroc is not fast.
