Like I said before. In the 60's this didn't happen. No little red express would pull a cobra jet Mach if it was stock.

Just a question ?

The new 2001 Cobra layed the smackdown in MM&FF with a 13.30 in the 1/4.
Do the new 2001 Lightnings stomp them ?

I don't think so. I think the last time MM&FF ran a stock L it went 13.5 or so. I'll have to check though.

They're damn close. MM&FF made it a point to mention the L's times when they did the Cobra story. They're within one tenth, if I remember correctly (something like 13.34 vs. 13.37, with the L being faster), and the L was tested last spring in cooler weather.
